By accessing cebascuba.com or requesting any service from CEBA Dive Tribe Scuba School EIRL ("CEBA Scuba," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking request.
CEBA Dive Tribe Scuba School EIRL organizes and provides scuba diving instruction, certification courses, guided dives, adaptive diving programs, and related aquatic activities along the Dominican Republic's north coast. We are certified across multiple agencies including PADI, NAUI, SDI, TDI, HSA, DAN, and Ocean Reef Neptune 3. Some experiences may be coordinated in partnership with licensed third-party operators who hold all applicable Dominican Republic permits and certifications.
All bookings begin with a request submitted through our website, WhatsApp, or email. A booking is only confirmed once we send written confirmation and the agreed deposit or full payment has been received through our designated payment processor. Verbal confirmations do not constitute a binding booking.
All prices quoted are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing. Quoted prices include only the items listed in the written confirmation. Gratuities, personal expenses, equipment purchases, and unspecified add-ons are not included.
Participation in scuba diving and aquatic activities requires participants to be in adequate physical health. By booking, you confirm that you have disclosed all relevant medical conditions on our medical questionnaire. CEBA Scuba reserves the right to refuse service to any participant whose health or conduct poses a risk to themselves or others, without liability for any resulting losses.
Certain medical conditions require written physician clearance before participation in scuba activities. Minimum age requirements vary by course. Participants under 18 must have written parental or guardian consent.
For certified diver activities (fun dives, advanced courses), participants must present valid proof of certification. CEBA Scuba reserves the right to conduct a skills assessment before any open water activity. Misrepresentation of certification level may result in removal from the activity without refund.
Scuba diving and aquatic activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to decompression illness, drowning, marine life encounters, and equipment failure. CEBA Dive Tribe Scuba School EIRL, its owners, employees, instructors, divemasters, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in any activity where participants have signed a liability waiver or where risk is inherent to the nature of the activity. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific activity giving rise to the claim.
All participants must complete and sign a liability waiver and medical questionnaire prior to participation in any scuba or aquatic activity. No waiver, no participation — this is non-negotiable and non-refundable if the waiver is declined on the day of the activity.
CEBA Scuba strongly recommends that all participants carry dive insurance (such as DAN coverage) and travel/medical insurance. Participants are solely responsible for all medical costs, emergency evacuation, hyperbaric treatment, and repatriation expenses.
CEBA Scuba shall not be liable for cancellations or modifications caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, sea conditions, natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, or infrastructure failures. In such cases, we will offer a rescheduling option or a credit toward future services.
CEBA Scuba and its instructors may photograph or film activities for promotional use. If you do not consent to being photographed, notify us in writing before the activity or indicate your preference on the waiver form. Photos and video taken by CEBA Scuba staff remain property of CEBA Dive Tribe Scuba School EIRL.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
